公安部四川消防研究所直属中华人民共和国公安部，是从事建筑防火科学与技术研究的专业研究所，始建于1963年，其前身为公安部消防科学研究所，1965年从北京迁建于举世闻名的世界遗产地—都江堰市。这里山清水秀、气候宜人，经成灌高速公路至四川省省会——成都市，车程仅需20分钟，自成都双流国际机场驱车50分钟即可到达。
Established in 1963 as the Fire Research Institute of Public Security Ministry (PSM) and moved in 1965 from Beijing to Dujiangyan, Sichuan Fire Research Institute of PSM, directly under the Public Security Ministry, has been majoring in the research of building fire science and technology. It takes about 20 minutes’ drive from the Institute in Dujiangyan - the World Cultural Heritage famous for its beautiful scenery and pleasant weather - to Chengdu - the Capital of Sichuan Province, and 50 minutes to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport by the Cheng-Guan Expressway.
