| Established in 1963 as the Fire Research Institute of Public Security Ministry (PSM) and moved in 1965 from Beijing to Dujiangyan, Sichuan Fire Research Institute of PSM, directly under the Public Security Ministry, has been majoring in the research of building fire science and technology. It takes about 20 minutes’ drive from the Institute in Dujiangyan - the World Cultural Heritage famous for its beautiful scenery and pleasant weather - to Chengdu - the Capital of Sichuan Province, and 50 minutes to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport by the Cheng-Guan Expressway. |
